Access Days

Check the Events Calendar to find out what's on.

Marymead Autism Centre is grateful for the businesses in the Canberra community who have embraced inclusive practices and have agreed to hold Access Days. They provide opportunities for guests on the Autism Spectrum, along with their families and friends, to enjoy entry to activities outside of the regular opening hours. The aim is to develop resilience in the children and to promote integration for both the families and the businesses.

Depending on the activity, some modifications will be made to accommodate people on the Autism spectrum.

To assist the community in building their capacity to accommodate people on the Autism spectrum, the Marymead Autism Centre also provides training to staff on 'Understanding the Autism Spectrum'.

If you are a business and would like to be a part of this initiative, please contact us.

The current businesses who are part of the Access Day program are:

  • Flip Out
